We are offering two loads of preconditioned steer calves on the Virginia Cattlemen’s Association Tel-O-Auction Sale on November 10th, 2025 at 6:00 PM EST. These are primarily February and March calves, sired by performance tested Angus bulls and AI sires with high carcass EPDs. The calves will have been weaned and preconditioned for 45+ days and have 840 EID tags for export.

The calves were weaned using FerAppease to help reduce stress and promote calm, natural behavior during the transition from cow to bunk. FerAppease supports better weight gain, enhanced health outcomes, and improved overall performance — helping these calves reach their full genetic potential in the feedlot or on grass.

All calves are gentle, acclimated to feed bunks and watering troughs and have been fed a Cargill starter feed with Diamond V’s NaturSafe for good immune response. These calves are age, source and process verified by IMI Global and Angus Link.

We have also tested our entire heifer crop with Neogen’s Igenity Beef genomic testing and were awarded elite scores in both terminal and maternal traits (summary below - full data available upon request). Mr. Glenn Wheeler of the Virginia Department of Agriculture will grade the calves, and Narrows Livestock Market is handling the transaction.
